Recorded in Brooklyn, NY in 2006, this album goes straight to the heart. Most of the songs were written during a cross-country road trip which took Megan and William through the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, a tornado in northern Tennesee, the Rocky Mountains of Montana and Idaho, down the beautiful highway 1, and then back through the deserts of the southwest. The people, scenery, and challenges of living in a car together seem to have been the perfect ingredients for these two to create a truly wonderful, heart-felt record. The songs are carefully crafted with thoughtful lyrics and sensitive, tasteful guitar work. There are tastes of american folk, blues, country, and even a dash of flamenco. The album flows seamlessly from beginning to end, reminiscent of a time gone by.
